Super!! I expected no better... It is true it was not the posters and everything but I'm still super excited to review these housewives desperate... When a series makes the "buzz" it has its fans and also its detractors. Having heard about it I wanted to check by myself what camp I could feel ranger. So, yes, there are the classic duo of cops opposite : a crazy social single, and a conventional married with children. But the graphic style of the series (including a very long sequence in one of the episodes), the choice of a narrative (story segmented into 3 epochs from 1995 to 2012 with flashbacks), the acting flawless (male and female), the atmosphere creepy and slightly glowing from the Louisiana deep and the generic terrible that holds you from the first minute (music for the group "country gothic" Handsome Family, the title "Far from any road" for those who seek) make this series a work that reflects a little in the kind of a polar (this is not NCIS...) it is a series that deserves, there are a lot of dialogues, it does not backfire not every 5 min (even if it happens), the pace is slow and some clues discrete are sown along the episodes. In short I love it. A second season is in the pipes, in another city, with other actors (including Colin Farrell which I'm not a big fan, but with Kelly/Reily, the beautiful redhead seen in movies Klapisch - Hostel Spanish etc... So addicted to this series that I have not seen the time pass with these 16 new episodes. Let's start this first part of the season with the same topo as formerly.
